Oh no, not again!

The Rubber Chicken having his revenge was so improbable that he was turned into a bowl of lemons wrapped around a large gold brick. Afterwards, when being interviewed by the Leopard, he was heard to say, "Oh no, not again!"

The plan that back-fired.

A recent photograph posted here depicts poor Count Vladamir von Jiblets stuck in a mousetrap. It should be pointed out at this stage that the mousetrap did actually belong to Von Jiblets. See the 'to catch a thief' post for full details.

Yet some rather dark-humoured comedian took it upon himself to allow von Jiblets to fall victim to his own trap. It is good that rubber chickens do not have neck bones, or the story would certainly not have a happy ending.

So enjoy the humerous photographs while you are still in a position to find these antics humerous. It has long since worn thin around here. Well, I guess all is well as long as someone is getting a laugh out of it all.

Farewell for the moment.

Been here several times. The humour is pretty gothic...but then I keep reminding myself - what more could you expect from a bunch of aussies.

I live in the hope of more...

For example, the fate of von Jiblets at the hand of his own mousetrap could perhaps have a parallel?

Like a certain elder statesman who is hoping to persuade his mousetrap (the electorate) that he is good for another four years ...

The possibilities could be endless. :D:D:D A headless chickens Bledisloe Cup? Barmy Army vs Headless Chickens at MCG on Boxing Day? Wasn't there a pop group called Headless Chickens? The Russian politburo running around trying to put out feather fires caused by Cluckchian terrorists...

Keep it going bugg'rit!

This has brought tears to my eyes - The Kiwi has found the Aussie! Mind you, he doesn't seem to appreciate the Mutton Birds but he reads you, all the same. Now all you need is an Asian and an African and you'll have every continent represented in this hen house. Oy, kol hakavod!

It is happening. As in any good natural system, the laws of physics allow for expansion. The chicken population has doubled and so has the commenting readership of this blog. But is this a forerunner of exponential increase or just a gathering of like minded lost souls who ponder the anthropological structure of rubber chickens, or indeed if any such thing is possible.
